If I hire a car on Kos am I allowed to take it on the ferry to Kalymnos

When you collect the car you must inform the local branch manager you wish to travel to another island. Of course you can rent a car in each island, as another option.

It is up to the local branch manager, but I don´t see it as a problem, but we cannot provide advance information of their decision, as cars are not normally permitted to travel to the islands, without that permission.

We would be returning the car to Kos. Will the hire rate be the same or will there be surcharge for taking the vehicle off Kos?
